Repair Of My Orvis Clearwater 15ft Salmon Rod
Customer experience was excellent. In four weeks my Orvis Clearwater 15ft rod was repaired, cleaned and shipped back to me. The service from customer service team to the repair team was one of the best I have ever had.
Thankyou all for your help and advice.

I have ordered two items on two separate orders over the last week or so. On both occasions, order was delivered the following morning.

Products were good quality.

What a joke
What a joke. I ordered a shirt - two weeks passed and I had received nothing. I rang up to enquire and was told the shirt was unavailable. Why could they not have informed me? A jumper that I also ordered took 8 days to arrive. I instigated a return and 10 days later the tracking is showing that the item was delivered but they have not refunded the money. Again, I rang to enquire where the refund was and they denied having received the jumper back - when I provided proof that it had been returned they agreed to process the refund which I should receive in 5 days - what a (bad) joke. For the amount Orvis charges they should up their game - free next day delivery and returns processed within 5. It's a shame as their clothing is good - but customer service is diabolical.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Ordered the wrong size bed which had our dogs name on which they collected and sent the next size with no hassle at all. Lovely lady who was very helpful and polite.
Well done Orvis! have bought our dogs beds from you for over ten years and still have the original one ! So worth the money.

Dreadful
Dreadful, don't bother. Ordered a present for Christmas, didn't even have courtesy to advise the item was out of stock. Only when I chased the delivery did I find out. Admit they should have communicated sooner, OK that doesn't really solve the issue of finding an alternative.

100% dissatisfied

Excellent customer service
I ordered a dog travel crate online and my order status gave a dispatch by date of 12/27/21 (US format) some 22 days after I ordered it and no use being delivered then as we need it for the Xmas period. I phoned customer services and Tammy explained it had already shipped from USA and said I likely wouldn't get it in time. She did tell me though that 2 local shops had it in stock, gave me their phone numbers and told me how to still get my discount. Phoned one of the shops she suggested and 24 hrs later the crate is here. Well done to them and thanks for such great service!

Good products, terrible service!
The Orvis products are great but don’t bother ordering online. There website is misleading, delivery takes an age and their customer service is completely disorganised. It’s not up to the standard you’d expect considering their premium price tag.

Placed order on Orvis UK website for an…
Placed order on Orvis UK website for an item i needed urgently that indicated 'In Stock' and 'Orders usually despatched same day'. Seems item was actually in stock half way round the world, awaiting shipment to UK and then subject to further 7-10 day delivery once in the country. Very misleading - do not rely on stock status and check delivery if you want anything within a reasonable timescale.

6 weeks to even ship a jumper
I visited the London store and ordered a jumper online as they only had L and XL in most of their styles. The staff were friendly and put through the order on their website.

1 week later with 0 updates on progess I contacted them via email and was told the jumper will SHIP , not even be delivered, until 31/12/2021. I asked for a refund and am hopeful I will get it soon but knowing how sloppy their systems are, who knows what will happen.

Their website pretends to have items available that it does not and their shipping times are from the 18th century.

All good!
Ordered several items from this company in the past, including sweaters and a very expensive leather jacket. My experience was nothing but positive and the quality of the goods received were excellent. Very happy with the service and plan to shop with them again soon!

Bought 2 pairs of trousers
Bought 2 pairs of trousers. Tbh I think I erred in the length I bought. Washed 1 pair. Miles too short after I wore them briefly at home. Took them both back (1 washed; 1 unwrapped) and, without a quibble they exchanged both for a longer fit. No issues. Done quickly and politely. Excellent service.

Misleading information regarding deliveries
I placed an online order, the website suggested in stock. When confirmation of the order arrived by email, it suggested most orders in stock are delivered between 10-14 business days! Having chased the delivery, I was informed that they were not expecting stock for another 10 days and then it would be between 10-14 business days for delivery, however I would not be charged until the order was shipped. If I was aware that the item was unlikely going to be delivered for a month after initial order, I would not have bothered but would have looked for an alternative, which I have now done and subsequently cancelled the order with Orvis. I had been recommended Orvis by a friend, but will certainly think twice about ordering anything from them again online.

All that glitters is not gold...........
Ever wondered why according to reviews on Orvis site, everyone is happy with the products/customer service? I recently had a problem with an order which meant I waited a month only to find out what I had ordered was no longer available. I have to say no money was taken throughout but I was frustrated nonetheless because it was only me chasing that led to finding out. Anyway, I wrote a pretty innocuous and certainly not abusive review laying out the bare facts and got an email back saying they would not publish since it did not meet website guidelines!!

So......viva freedom of speech and thank goodness for Trustpilot!!

My order was delayed.
My order was delayed, due to no fault of Orvis, but they (UK seller) gave me a nice discount without me asking.
Can't fault them on service and the Clearwater and Encounter rods are superb.

Excellent dog beds
I can only comment on Orvis' dog beds - my dog has two of the very large ones and he loves them. So much, in fact, that they are clearly his domains where he feels snug and comfortable. They are over 3 years old now and still as good as new so, although these beds are expensive, they have worked out more economical than the cheaper ones I first bought, which disintegrated in months
